John Farnham and Olivia Newton-John Artist Info
Farnham and Newton-John will release Friends for Christmas on November 11.
It sees the pair duet on festive classics including Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Baby It’s Cold Outside, Silent Night, White Christmas and Winter Wonderland.
Farnham flew to Santa Barbara in California to record the songs in person with Newton-John.
“To record a Christmas album (together) seemed like the right, almost inevitable thing to do,” Farnham said. “I hope everyone enjoys listening to it as much as we loved recording it together.”
The friends scored a No. 1 album last year with Two Strong Hearts, the live documentation of their joint tour.
“It was such a joy singing these beautiful holiday songs with my favourite singer and good mate John Farnham,” Newton-John said. “The holidays are about family and friends and having this chance to sing these classics with John was pure fun from beginning to end!”
