Daedelus Info Album 

Alfred Darlington has been a major player in the LA electronic scene for almost two decades, establishing a style somewhere between experimental IDM and hip-hop. He's released on Brainfeeder, Ninja Tune and Anticon, and also runs the Magical Properties imprint (under the Alpha Pup umbrella), where he'll put out Labyrinths.

The label calls the album "twisting, complex and rhizomatic" and "a maze of genre." They also bill it as a "response and critique of the current state of EDM," in which Darlington "attempts to answer his own questions with style rather than cynicism using the labyrinth metaphor."

There are a healthy number of collaborators on Labryinths, including Seven Davis Jr., Teebs, Moses Sumney, rapper Busdriver and Darlington's wife, Laura. Darlington has also invited fans to put their "own spin" on the cover art, which they'll be able to upload as a .gif file to a website that will be revealed closer to release date.
