Dragonette can do no wrong at the moment. And the winning streak continues with new single “Sweet Poison” — the latest taste of the band’s just-announced 4th LP, Royal Blues (due November 11). This track finds Martina Sorbara & the boys exploring dreamy, late-night disco with a little help from Dada. “You play with my mind, I mess with your time,” she sings on the chorus. “We’re two wrongs that won’t make a right.”

There’s a healthy dose of melancholy hiding behind the lush synths as the singer comes to terms with her bad romance. “Sweet Poison” is destined to be a highlight of Dragonette’s live show. Their upcoming North American tour kicks off in Waterloo, ON on November 9 and then crosses the continent before winding up in Boston, MA on December 11. (Check out all the dates here).
