It's been close to two months now since Thee Oh Sees issued their A Weird Exits, so the always-moving garage rock combo are already getting ready to put out some new music. A sister set to the summer release is called An Odd Entrances, and it comes out November 18 via band member John Dwyer's Castle Face Records.
Thee Oh Sees Artist info
A press release explains that the forthcoming six-song release was recorded during the same sessions as A Weird Exits, with Dwyer joined in the studio by Ryan Moutinho, Dan Rincon and Tim Hellman. The album is said to be more contemplative than A Weird Exits, with the "cosmic exercise" showcasing cellos, flutes, and a few "Grimm-dark lullabies."
To tease the set, Thee Oh Sees are streaming An Odd Entrances' "The Poem," which you'll find below, along with a tracklisting. There, you'll also discover Thee Oh Sees' upcoming North American tour schedule, which has stops in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
