Minus the Bear - VOIDS Description
It’s been nearly five years since Minus the Bear put a new album out into the world, but that’ll change on March 3 when the Seattle experimental-rock group release their sixth album, VOIDS.
To announce the new LP, the band dropped lead single “Invisible” today, and it’s a stuffed-to-the-gills, aural blowout of a song. Frontman Jake Snider sings about helping yourself out as guitarist Dave Knudson riffs, solos and taps his way into a state of rock transcendence. Though Snider told Noisey in an interview today that the song is “less ornamental,” there’s precious little evidence of that here. The song’s about as eye-popping as you could expect, especially from a 16-year-old band. That time away might’ve been well spent.
